Our architectural firm is actively searching for a Senior Project Manager, Health Care Studio, in each of the following California office locations:
Ontario
Pasadena
San Diego
Immediate interviewing.
Reports To: Principal Healthcare Studio
Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and administering major projects through all phases of development. Where applicable, gives direction to assigned staff. Resolves architectural problems.
Will establish and maintain budgets, schedules, and monitor adherence of terms of contract expectations. Has primary responsibility for client contact and authority to direct, control, and monitor all project activities.
Supervision and Delegation
Delegate assignments to office support staff, consultants, and vendors.
Be primary source for monitoring employee performance on a daily basis and take appropriate action to report both positive and negative performance.
Supervise and manage multiple clients and project managers for all phases of Business Development
Write and develop project marketing interview materials. Participate in project marketing interview.
Correspond effectively with agencies, consultants, and clients.
Primary proponent for project pursuit.
Prepare/edit marketing proposals and participate in interviews.
Write and approve marketing proposals.
Market projects through client interviews, public presentations, and professional publications.
Design
Ensure that project managers support design, follow design intent and ensure that company design goals are supported on all projects.
Collaborate with design team for quality of project design and documents, through all phases of projects.
Ensure that the projects have the appropriate design staff in collaboration with the design team.

Education:
Architectural degree from an accredited university or equivalent demonstrated proficiency.
Experience/Skills:
Minimum of ten (10) years experience in production and coordination of documents in all phases of architectural practice and in management of projects desired with emphasis upon Healthcare project design.
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize. Ability to oversee two to three project managers and multiple project teams.
CA Lic. Architect preferred
