Selected Candidate will be responsible for Electrical engineering as it relates to the client’s project. Candidate will have a minimum 10 years experience, College Degree: BSEE. Candidates area of responsibility would include electrical engineering/design in heavy industrial and commercial projects Practical work experience in the design of calculations (low/high power distribution systems, lighting, security/fire systems, data/telecommunication systems, etc.), sketches, technical comparisons, and additional assignments of similar difficulty levels for industrial buildings and structures in oil refinery, power plant and steel manufacturing industries. Required to complete electrical /code evaluations, reports and inspections, review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, or engineers and recommend necessary corrections. This role can also serve as the Lead Project Engineer representing the Electrical Department on the Project team. Will represent the Electrical department in Project meetings, develop time lines, establish man hour requirements, and establish and maintain the cost component as it relates to the Electrical requirement/department. Interface with the client when required.
Professional registration (P.E. and/ or S.E) IN or IL
Knowledge of Medium/High voltage (2400, 60kV, 138kV, and 345kV utility distribution and sub station work
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Conversant in use of computer programs such as Excel, Auto Cad and Microsoft suite applications.
Mentors junior engineers.
Interfaces with clients, Manager of Projects, engineers and other personnel to define project application and deliverables.
Must be able to lead/work as a part of a team on multiple jobs in a fast pace environment.
