Has an immediate opening for a Structural Engineer
Selected Candidate will be responsible for civil/structural engineering as it relates to the client’s project. Candidate will have 4 to 7 years experience, College Degree BSCE - Masters preferred. Practical work experience in the design of industrial buildings and structures in oil refinery, power plant and steel manufacturing industries needed. Area of responsibility would include civil/ structural design in heavy industrial and commercial projects. Required to complete code analysis, structural evaluations, reports and inspections, perform finite element analysis as required by project.
BSCE (MSCE preferred) from an accredited institution.
Experience in design of structures and foundations.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with building codes such as IBC, ASCE7 AISC and ACI 318
Proficiency in STAAD, RISAS & MathCad
Conversant in use of computer programs such as Excel and other Microsoft suite applications
Mentors junior Engineer.
Must be able to work as a part of a team in a fast pace environment.
Interfaces with clients, manager of projects , engineers and other personnel to define project application and deliverables.
Other duties as designed by Project Engineer and or Depart Manager
