Business Manager - Learning Services
 

LOCATION: Any Major US City

The company recently created a new service line - Learning Services. This will expand their service mix to achieve a closer business relationship with key clients, and drive the company’s growth and profitability. Learning Services is a single point of contact providing strategy, content, technology and administration for their clients' learning needs. The company will cater to the learning needs arising out of situations like merger/divestiture, change management (process, strategy change), sales effectiveness lagging behind product strategy, process changes and workforce globalization. Learning Services will work with the client to embrace the culture of knowledge sharing and collaborative learning. The company has the credentials required to position themselves as a leader in the learning industry using innovative learning mechanisms integrated with performance management, as well as recognition as a proven and successful knowledge enterprise.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Manager strives to acquire, manage and enhance the relationship with clients and addresses the clients’ business needs with appropriate services and solutions from the Company.

•Manage a portfolio of prospects ( in case of pre-sales ) or Portfolio in an account or smaller accounts
•Initiate Accounts and prepare Account Development Strategy with Sales
•Responsible for carrying a revenue target
•Assess client requirements, present customized solutions/proposals, and bring together best team to meet those requirements
•Respond to RFI/RFP/RFQ requests, conduct due diligence and strategize with sales team on response
•Client relationship and account management
•Client development: Manage prospects/ Portfolio/client relationships
•Business development support: Opportunity identification and pursuit within portfolios managed and/or presales support
•Coordinate Organizational/business unit specific initiatives
•Resource Planning and project staffing
•Client Escalation Management
•Engagement satisfaction assessment
•Revenue forecasting and profitability analysis



QUALIFICATIONS:
•8-12 years of overall experience
•Sales Executive/Professional with a minimum of 8 years in IT Consulting Solutions or Professional Services sales in a Fortune 500 environment
•Advanced knowledge and a thorough understanding of the learning environment and customer needs
•Strong account management/ relationship management experience
•Process improvement skills and ability to innovate, including improving the learning effectiveness of courses
•Global delivery model, onsite/ offshore experience preferred
•Person must be comfortable and experienced in opening and developing new accounts
•Ability to conduct industry and customer analysis and identify “pain points”
•Global Delivery Model experience
•Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
•Up to 50% travel will be required
•Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred

COMPENSATION:
Base salary + bonus
