CD One Price Cleaners, the leading dry-cleaning and laundry specialist in Chicago with 29 stores and growing, is looking for experienced managers/supervisors to join our team in the role of Production Managers and Shift Managers.
All of our stores offer on premises dry-cleaning and laundry services for our customers. In this important salaried position, you will supervise a team of hourly workers who perform all the cleaning, pressing, inspection and racking of our customers garments. Are you a multi-tasking, early riser who can get a team focused on the job at hand while maintaining high quality and speed of service? If so, this position may be an excellent fit for you.

1) Leading by example through hands-on training of their team.
2) Planning a work schedule that is efficient and ensures that our high standards for garment cleaning and pressing are met.
3) Keeping a team moving forward in a fast paced environment.
4) Overseeing the whole process from a high level, but able to work with individual team members who need guidance on a specific task.
5) Working hands-on with their team out on the floor to ensure that the process is flowing in a timely manner and that work is being performed as efficiently as possible.
6) Completing similar work each day. No day is exactly the same, but the work product they oversee is similar every day.
7) Take direction from the Store Manager and the corporate support team and give constructive feedback to all their team.
8) Demonstrating they are dependable. Our customers count on getting their garments back on time and the Operations Production Manager is the key link in that process.
9) Have had some prior managerial experience supervising employees. Prior food service production or management is helpful because you understand processes and the end result of your efforts to the store.
10) Train and develop other staff members as needed you will have the opportunity to join a growing company and be groomed for the position of Store Manager. We believe in promotion from within. Requirements
You must have a high school degree. Bilingual Spanish a big plus, but not required. Prior experience in a production environment is not required but is a plus. Reliable transportation.
