<LI>Establish objectives relating to sales performance. Issue specific objectives to sales staff to meet corporate objectives. Provide training and guidance to sales personnel as necessary</LI>
<LI>Maintain contact with customers regarding sales and service (including sales responsibility for specific assigned accounts)</LI>
<LI>Develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures appropriate to the day-to-day operations</LI>
<LI>Meet or exceed local fill rates and service levels</LI>
<LI>Review and approve adequate plans for the control of planned outputs, labor efficiency, material handling, customer service and order entry efficiency</LI>
<LI>Oversee cash management process between the Branch and the Regional Credit department; work with Regional Credit Manager to address local customer credit/collection issues</LI>
<LI>Define and recommend objectives in each area of the operation while developing specific short-term and long-term plans</LI>
<LI>Evaluate reports (sales, credit, inventory, etc.) and results in relation to established goals</LI>
<LI>Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services provided</LI> |
