Alaska Communications Systems

Senior Tax Accountant

About the Company:

Alaska Communications Systems (ACS) is a full-service telecommunications company headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska that serves needs of consumers, businesses and carriers with data, internet, wireless, long distance and local products. ACS is a publicly traded company, trades on NASDAQ under the symbol ALSK. The track record of ACS has been best in class since its make-over that began in 2004. The team’s credentials, backgrounds and strategic focus are not what you typically find at a company like ours, and we have delivered phenomenal growth for ACS over the past 4 years. The company is now building its own submarine fiber optic network and enhancing other in-state infrastructure to capture a significant share of Enterprise customers’ traffic exiting from and coming to Alaska. This investment will drive the second major growth engine for the company.
The ACS team is a high performance team, driven by delivering top quality service and continuous process improvement, earning customer loyalty each day and thereby generating sector-leading shareholder returns.
