Safety engineer who knows how to do MSDS. Act as the Corporation's authority in all areas of Environmental, Health & Safety, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene. Keep Management apprised of developments in federal and state EH&S laws and regulations
Generate Hazard Constituent, Exposure Prevention, and First Aid label warnings for products sold to industrial, commercial, and consumer markets.
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (From USA) in environmental, industrial or chemical engineering.
• 1-3 years professional experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Must be Certified Professional Health & Safety status (ASP, CSP, IH, EIT, PE, CHSP, etc.)
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Experience working in a Union environment preferred
• Up to 25% travel required
Salary up to 75K DOE
